Somewhere above these steps, just out of frame, someone is standing in the sun. Their shadow stretches down into the darkness of the Underground — nameless, faceless, without a label to their name. Just a quiet presence finding its way.

And at the top of those steps, waiting in full color — London. It doesn't ask who you are before it welcomes you.

We spend so much of our lives trying to be seen for who we are. Sometimes the most freeing thing in the world is the idea that you could just arrive — no explanation needed, no identity required — and still be welcomed.
